Diaper Bank
of the Lowcountry 

     Bundles of Joy is a diaper bank  established in the Low country to assist those in need of diapers.  There are currently over 200 Diapers Banks that exist across the country.  The idea for Bundles of Joy diaper bank comes from my time working at Hope Assembly of God. Within months of becoming secretary for the church I saw that many people were in need of basic items including laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and diapers.  I met a woman who at a time was caring for her 2-year-old twin grandsons. She was living on a fixed income and needed some assistance in providing diapers and other necessities.  The ministry was able to help her and she soon began working with us to help other families in area.    

 

     The need to assist families with diapers continues.  In Charleston close to 20% of people are living in poverty.  They are working hard to make ends meet and will struggle to purchase diapers and other necessities often times choosing between paying bills and buying diapers. The goal of Bundles of Joy Diaper bank is to assist those in need of diapers directly through our organization and through a designated partner organization.

 

   We are currently serving families in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.   Our distributions currently take place in Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester,  and Colleton Counties.  We are also  open to partnering with organizations in other lowcountry counties to assist with the need for diapers to help get diapers to families in need in these Lowcountry areas.  If you would like to become a partner organization please email us at info@bundlesofjoydiaperbank.com.
